Job description
From April till the end of 2009 the project team is seeking external support for the next stage of the project in the role of contract development Lead.

In this role you are expected to achieve the following deliverables:

·         Define a best practice contract template and Statement of Work with Associated Schedules

·         Per identified tactical initiative have a complete MSA, SOW and Associated Schedules completed, and signed off by Legal and Procurement

·         Lead and Organize vendor clarifications and negotiation sessions for the identified tactical initiatives

·         Signed contracts with external service provider(s) for the identified tactical initiatives

The Contract Development Lead is expected to have senior experience as bidmanager or a role comparable to that. Experience with managed services and the related required contractual frameworks are a must. The person should have demonstrated work experience in this area, and be able to understand and challenge the procurement and legal activities. The person has worked in an IT Support environment and understands the Way of Workings of a Support organisation.

Besides the knowledge in contractual frameworks the Contract Development Stream Lead is expected to have broad management experiences and good communication skills (in both English and Dutch). These skills are required to be able to lead all relevant stakeholders (Business representatives, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Service managers, Delivery Managers, BAM leadership team) into a successful deal with an external service providers for each of the identified initiatives.

Because the project serves the BAM strategic targets, it receives a lot of management attention with a strong focus on short term benefits. This means that the Contract Development Lead is expected to commit to short timelines, which requires a fast learning curve and a proactive result driven attitude.

 

Profile

·         Certificate in Project Management Preferred 

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred 

·         Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) Preferred 

·         Certificate in DSDM Preferred 

·         Practitioner Certificate in PRINCE Preferred
